Time

Time falls
Like the snow upon a branch
of a bare tree
Everything melts away
as if it never existed
We only live to waste time
The world doesn't want us here long
So we make ourselves schedules for our time here on Earth
As if our 9-5 jobs really matter
and all the money and all the material objects will be
handed down

then handed down
then handed down
Until someone down the family line gets rid of it all
Long before we were here, none of those things were here anyway
But time is infinite and will keep going
and for all of us
Our time will fall
